Following
many requests for a classic animated film, we are delighted
to be showing The Jungle Book as
a special screening for one night only. This will be in addition
to our regular season, and tickets (£6) are available
from Hamiltons Newsagents and at the door on the evening.
The
Jungle Book is being shown in The Corn
Exchange on Saturday 29th April 2017 at 7.30pm.
Disney's
classic animated film is inspired by the stories written by
Rudyard Kipling about Mowgli, a child found in a basket as a
baby in the Indian jungle.
First
released in 1967, the film was the last to have Walt Disney's
personal touch. Although he died before the film's release,
it went on to become the studio's most successful cartoon, and
is without doubt one of the greatest animated films of all time,
appealing to children and adults alike.
50
years after its release, it is still one of the true classics
in the history of film.
All
the proceeds from the film will go to Revive MS Support, Scotland.
As this is a special screening, the ticket price is not included
as part of the membership season ticket.
Admission
is £6, with tickets available from Hamiltons Newsagents
and at the door on the evening, subject to availability.
One
of the best-loved animated films of all time - plus full supporting
programme!
